What is a die-cut roll?

A die-cut roll is a cylindrical blade tool used for cutting out products and mass production.

  • A system that performs material die-cutting, scoring (creasing), and embossing using two cylindrical blade molds in a continuous rotary manner.
  • The material is cut into the product shape by passing it between a die-cut roll (which has the product shape engraved on it) and an anvil roll (which has a flat surface).
  • Switching from a recipro cutter to a rotary die-cut system increases productivity tens of times over!

    Precision blade tip processing is possible even with plastics materials.

  • Durability and Rust Prevention

    Highly durable POM(polyacetal) is used for the blade profile sections, and stainless steel (SUS) is adopted for the core metal. Compared to steel rolls, they are less prone to rust, and maintenance is easy.

  • Compliance with Food Sanitation Law

    The POM resin used is compliant with the Food Sanitation Law (Japan). With Mill Test Report acquired, it can be used safely for food-related applications.

The side frame, which supports the ultra-precision structure of the cutting unit, uses highly rigid material to perform ideal cutting.
